       Dusty Rhodes is one of the wrestlers that teamed with Andre the Giant. Rhodes took hold of the title during a team with Andre in the earlier matches, yet Andre the Giant was one man that did not need an ounce of help.

Andre the Giant is probably one of my all-time favorites in wrestling, yet I am not even a fan of wrestling. Well at least today, since nowadays its sluttish, soap operas, and BS most the times: Anytime men start wrestling to win a woman taking her home, and the woman allows it, we can see nothing but a sluttish and pimping depiction in the rings. Thus, wrestling today is a pornographic, violent, obscene display, yet back in the day, it used to be a sport. Just think, these kids are watching these matches, yet everyone is complaining about violence and porn on television. Go figure!

Andre's real name is Andre Renae Rousimoff, which in the ring he was known as the Giant Rousimoff, Jean Ferre, and Andre the Giant, and the Giant Machine. The Giant stood 7'4 making him one of the tallest and biggest men in the wrestling arena, and he weighed in at around 380-520. His weight fluctuated throughout his career, since this man suffered an illness hidden to everyone at first, which later determined his faith in life. Andre was born in May 1946 on the 19 th day, born in Molien , France . Andre fought hard up until his death, which occurred on January 29, 1993. Andre leaving survivors behind, including his mother, Marian, along with four siblings, including his brother Jacque: Andre died along side his father, Boris:

Andre was trained by Edward Capantier during his start in wrestling. Andre trained well, since he made it to the Wrestling Halls of Fame. With Andre being the biggest man in wrestling, extracts were taking of his measurements while he was joined with the Wrestle Mania III. Thus, Andre weighed 7'4, 520 pounds, with a chest size of '71', thighs '36', calves '22', waist '36' (which is excellent for a man this size), wrists '11', hands '16', biceps '21', neck '24', size of shoe '24', forearms '17'.

The Giant without quarrel was one the favorites in the ring. People all over the world would join at the matches, each time this giant of man stood in the rings. The story tells that while he was watching a match, a wrestler stepped to him asking him to fight. Andre moved in on the opportunity and from there he began his career in wrestling. We will see!

Giant's physique had nothing on Andre's big heart. This appearing mean man in the matches took extra caution during his first matches not to hurt anyone extremely. The Giant, a true Frenchman was born in a loving home, with both his parents being at least six-feet in height. As you can see, height ran in the genes.

While Giant's family derived from France , his grandfather was a man of Bulgarian. This man stood every bit of seven foot eight. Thus, again, height in the genes was there, yet it caused problems, since the Giant suffered a disease known as ACROMEGALY. This disease claimed his life later, since it would affect his heart, thus the disease is better called a hormonal overgrowing killer. (I.e. the disease left Giant no control over his growing phase)

At fourteen-years of age, Giant weighed two-hundred pounds and stood six-foot three. This is when Giant left his home, going to work in Paris , and working at a furnishing warehouse until he turned seventeen years old. This is when Giant was discovered!

After viewing a biography on television on Andre the Giants life, I concluded that those claiming he was a man loved by most, concluding that it is nothing more than entire truth. This giant of a man stood in the rings, yet his heart stood out as he fought. This let everyone know that the Giant man was filled with affection and had nothing but love for the world!
